Chris Sweeney is a writer at Partners In Health. Previously, he was a staff writer at the New Times, a Village Voice weekly in South Florida. He won the 2012 Florida Press Club Best Health Reporting award for a feature on genetically modified mosquitoes. His feature on the illicit coral trade was awarded an honorable mention in the 2012 Evert Clark/Seth Payne Award for young science journalists. His work has been anthologized, translated into Polish, and featured on Longform.org and Byliner.
